Shaughnessy is a senior vice president with MFS Investment Management. She joined the firm in 1991 as an equity analyst and was promoted to vice president in 1992 and senior vice president in 1998. Previously, she worked as an analyst with Harvard Management from 1987 to 1991. She also spent two years as an analyst with the Federal Reserve. Shaughnessy holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
