Peter J. Wilby  (1997-06-26)
Wilby, portfolio manager of the Emerging Markets Debt Fund, has served as chief investment officer of Stone Harbor since April 2006. Prior to April 2006, Mr. Wilby was the Chief Investment Officer of North American Fixed Income and senior portfolio manager responsible for directing investment policy and strategy for all emerging markets and high yield fixed income portfolios at Citigroup Asset Management Wilby holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Jerome Booth  (2005-10-13)
Jerome Booth, Head of Research and a member of the Investment Committee, and has won regional awards for both Latin American and Eastern European research. He joined ANZ in 1994 and was Head of Research for the Emerging Markets Group, then Capital Markets, and then Head of Markets Research for ANZ Investment Bank with global responsibility for fixed income and foreign exchange research. Prior to joining ANZ he was Senior Strategic Planning Officer at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC. Before that, until 1991, he ran a consultancy business advising on aid and trade related issues for four years, and worked in Her Majesty’s Department of Trade and Industry from 1985-7 with responsibility for multi-lateral development banks. Dr Booth holds three degrees including a Dphil in economics from Oxford and was a lecturer in economics at Christ Church, Oxford.
Mark Coombs  (2005-10-13)
Mark Coombs, Managing Director of Ashmore and Chairman of the Investment Committee, having been involved in emerging markets since 1983. He holds an MA (Hons) in Law from Cambridge University and joined Grindlays Bank plc in 1983. Following its acquisition by Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) he was appointed Head of Emerging Markets Group for ANZ Merchant Bank Limited in 1988 and in 1991 became Head of the International Merchant Banking Division of ANZ Grindlays Bank plc and in 1997 Head of Markets for ANZ Group. He was appointed to the Board of the Emerging Markets Trade Association in 1993 and Co-Chair in 2000. He has been Chairman of the Investment Committee since he established the business as a separate division within ANZ in 1992, and is responsible for setting overall investment strategy of funds managed.
Seumas Dawes  (2005-10-13)
Seumas Dawes, a Senior Portfolio Manager and a member of the Investment Committee. He joined Ashmore from Paribas Limited, where he was responsible for local markets derivatives trading. Prior to Paribas he worked for two years as Head of Local Markets Proprietary Trading at ANZ Investment Bank and before that, was a Director at Merrill Lynch, in the International Credit Trading group. Mr Dawes has extensive trading experience in emerging markets, credit products, and foreign exchange, interest rate and equity derivatives. Before commencing his career in the financial markets in 1989, Mr Dawes held a number of positions in the Australian public sector, including three years as a senior adviser to the then Treasurer of Australia (later, Prime Minister) Paul Keating.
Jules Green  (2005-10-13)
Jules Green, Senior Portfolio Manager of Ashmore and a member of the Investment Committee. He has daily responsibility for investment management and product development. He joined Grindlays Bank plc from the London School of Economics in 1985 and has been a member of Ashmore’s Investment Committee since inception. Previously he worked as an originator/ distributor in the ANZ Emerging Markets Group and as a financial engineer involved with currency swaps and options. He holds a degree in Management Sciences from London School of Economics.
James E. Craige  (2006-01-31)
Craige ,portfolio managers of the Emerging Markets Debt Fund, have served as senior portfolio managers of Stone Harbor since April 2006. Prior to that, he works as a portfolio manager and a member of the Investment Policy Committee of Salomon Brothers Asset Management Inc in 1992. Craige holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Thomas K. Flanagan  (2006-01-31)
Flanagan , portfolio managers of the Emerging Markets Debt Fund, have served as senior portfolio managers of Stone Harbor since April 2006. Prior to April 2006, he was the managing directors and senior portfolio managers for emerging markets debt portfolios at Salomon Brother Asset Management Inc. Flanagan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Gorky Urquieta  (2007-01-31)
Urquieta, head of the Emerging Markets Debt team of IIMA since May 2007, is responsible for global emerging market debt portfolios. He joined IIMA as a member of the Emerging Markets Debt team in June 2000 and is currently the senior investment manager. He is responsible for securities selection. Urquieta's responsibilities include research, asset allocation and trading.
Pablo Cisilino  (2008-01-31)
Cisilino is a senior portfolio manager with Stone Harbor since July 1, 2006. From June 1, 2004 to July 1, 2006, he was executive director for sales and trading in emering Stanley Inc. Prior to June 1, 2004, he was vice president for local markets and FX sales and trading with Goldman Sachs.
Daniel Eustaquio  (2008-01-31)
Daniel Eustaquio joined ING Investment Management in October 1998 and has 17 years of investment experience. He is a senior portfolio manager responsible for managing emerging markets portfolios. In addition, he manages funds for ING's insurance unit in Argentina. Previously, he was at DEKS Management and Banco Rio de la Plata. Daniel attended Northwestern University where he received a B.S. in mechanical engineering and an M.B.A. (Kellogg).
David Oliver  (2008-12-15)
Mr. Oliver has served as Portfolio Manager for Stone Harbor Investment Parter LP. since 2008. He had served as Managing Director at Citigroup from 1986 to 2008.
